Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Silom Street, Bangkok, Thailand[1]. Also known as the Maha Uma Devi temple (วัดพระศรีมหาอุมาเทวี) or shortly called as wat khaek (วัดแขก) in Thai. Located at the corner of Pan road and Silom Road (ถนนสีลม), opposite of Narai Hotel, Sri Maha Mariamman Temple shows the religious tolerance in the Thai society. It houses the statues of Hindu Gods and Goddesses.
Around the temple there are many flower stalls and plenty of visitors come to the temple compound to pay homage to gods and take a closer look at ceremonies.[2]
